📲 Samsung (One UI): keep TikTask reliable with battery and background settings
Use System Monitor first, then fix the Samsung settings that can delay or block TikTask schedules on One UI.
Use the quick path first, then only continue with the manual checklist if the issue remains.
What we’re fixing
- TikTask may be placed into Sleeping apps or Deep sleeping apps
- Battery mode may restrict background work
- Power saving can delay background scheduling
- Notifications may be disabled (so you don’t see alerts)
5-minute Samsung checklist (do in order)
1) Fastest method: use System Monitor first
Open System Monitor in TikTask and complete the recommended fixes for your phone. Only the checks relevant to your phone family may appear.
Continue with the manual checklist below only if System Monitor cannot open the setting you need or if schedules are still late. On Samsung, Sleeping apps and Deep sleeping apps still need a manual check.
2) Remove TikTask from Sleeping apps / Deep sleeping apps
Goal: prevent Samsung from freezing TikTask in the background.
3) Allow background activity (recommended)
Goal: TikTask can run normally when the phone is locked. Some Samsung versions show background activity controls in app settings.
- Go to Settings → Apps → TikTask
- If you see a background activity toggle, allow it
- If you use mobile data, ensure background data is not blocked
4) Make sure Power saving isn’t breaking schedules
Power saving is fine, but some modes can delay background work. For testing, temporarily turn Power saving OFF, then schedule a quick test (2 minutes from now).
5) Enable notifications (recommended)
Notifications help you see alerts and warnings when something blocks a task.
Quick test (recommended)
- Create a schedule for 2 minutes from now
- Lock your phone
- Wait and confirm it runs on time
If it still runs late
- Restart your phone once
- Re-check Sleeping apps and Deep sleeping apps (Samsung often moves apps there)
- Use the general Reliability checklist guide if needed
